Dr Boey Leng Loy

Dr. Loy completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 2004. She achieved fellowship status with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2009 and received the highest score in the General Practice clinical examination.

In addition to her general practice training, she has obtained a Diploma of Child Health, a Certificate in Travel Health, and a Certificate Course in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Dr Loy is a member of the Australian Medical Association and serves on the examination panel for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr. Loy has gained valuable hospital experience at renowned institutions such as Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, and the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Her hospital work spanned across various specialties, including emergency medicine, cardiology, respiratory medicine, renal medicine, geriatrics, psychiatry, orthopaedics, and general surgery. She finds fulfillment in all aspects of general practice, with a particular interest in travel medicine, minor procedures such as inserting Implanons and removing IUCD’s and performing skin checks.

During her leisure time she indulges in her passion for travel, trying to keep fit with running, swimming and yoga as well as learning French.
