Dr. Morkell is a highly accomplished medical professional who obtained her Honours degree from the University of Western Australia in 1999. In 2004, she became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, solidifying her expertise in the field.

Throughout her career, Dr. Morkell has gained extensive experience in various hospital settings. Her diverse background includes working in Cardiology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Medicine, Emergency Medicine, ENT (ear, nose & throat), Palliative Care, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, and Radiation Oncology.

Since 2002, she has focused her practice on General Practice, where she continues to dedicate herself to patient care. Dr. Morkell finds great satisfaction in all aspects of general practice but holds special interests in paediatrics, adolescent health, and women’s health.

To further enhance her knowledge in the field, she completed her Diploma of Child Health through the Sydney Children’s Hospital network and the University of Sydney in 2017.

Dr. Morkell is also qualified to insert and remove Implanon, a contraceptive implant. In her leisure time, Dr. Morkell finds joy in running and cherishes moments spent with her family. These activities provide her with a well-rounded lifestyle that contributes to her overall well-being.
