Dr. Praveen Vasantharao is a Specialist GP with a diverse range of qualifications and professional memberships. He obtained his MBBS degree from the University of Western Australia in 2014 and went on to specialize in General Practice by completing the specialist training program in 2022.

Throughout his career, he has gained experience in various medical and surgical specialties in WA. Dr. Praveen’s special interests include skin cancer medicine and surgery, where he has earned a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermoscopy and an Advanced Clinical Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine & Surgery. He is also proficient in performing various procedures such as cyst excision, nail bed repairs, toe wedge resections, and Implanon insertions/removals.

Additionally, he has a keen interest in managing arthritis and sporting injuries, as well as providing care for paediatric patients.

To further enhance his expertise, Dr. Praveen is a proud Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.

He is also a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, showcasing his dedication to staying updated with advancements in skin cancer management and treatment.
