Our Practice

To ensure your experience is made seamless and easy for you, here are some tips to make it go as smoothly as possible.

Contacting your GP

You can contact Ocean Village Medical centre during our opening hours (Mon, Wed & Fri 8am – 6pm, Tue & Thur 7.30am – 6pm, Sat 8am – 12pm) on 6140 1720. If you wish to speak with your doctor directly, we will do our best to connect you, however, they may be busy with other patients, in which case we can forward a message. Please note that clinical issues are best discussed face to face.

Receiving your test results

All results are reviewed by the requesting doctor in a timely manner. Our nurses will contact you if necessary requesting for you to make an appointment to see the doctor. Due to privacy reasons we will not give results over the phone.

How to obtain a specialist referral

You can get a referral for a specialist during a consultation with your GP. We do also give repeat referrals, however, there may be an additional fee.

Organising a medical certificate

You must book an appointment to obtain a medical certificate. Please note, we cannot back date medical certificates for any reason.

Reminders

We send out appointment reminders 24hours before your scheduled appointment for you to confirm or cancel. Our practice is committed to preventive care, we will occasionally send you reminders regarding health services specifically tailored to your health care. If you wish to OPT out of either of these services please let us know.
