Dr. Vanessa is a highly accomplished medical professional with a diverse background. She graduated from UCT in 1997 and began her career working in Emergency and Internal Medicine in Cape Town and Ireland. Following this, she spent four years specialising in Psychiatry and Mental Health in RSA and Cairns/Toowoomba. She then practiced as a GP and Emergency Medicine physician in Knysna, South Africa.

In 2012, Dr. Vanessa relocated to Australia and served as a GP in Rockingham for many years before transitioning to Craigie.

In 2014, she achieved the prestigious FRACGP qualification and was honoured as the top candidate in Western Australia, receiving an award for her outstanding performance.

Dr. Vanessa’s expertise is sought after, and she currently serves as an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) while also training medical students.

Dr. Vanessa leads a fulfilling personal life and is happily married with two wonderful children. During her leisure time, she enjoys spending quality moments with friends, engaging in activities like tennis, yoga, pilates, and taking walks along the river.

With additional training in Integrative Medicine, Dr. Vanessa is dedicated to optimising the well-being of her patients. She firmly believes in providing medical excellence while focusing on the holistic needs of each individual.

Dr. Vanessa’s special interests lie in various areas, including Family and Children’s medicine, Women’s health, Mental health, Integrative medicine, and the management of chronic conditions. Her extensive expertise allows her to offer comprehensive care to her patients in these particular areas.
