We started Ocean Village Medical Centre with a simple goal: to create a welcoming practice where people feel heard, respected, and supported over time. From our early days to today, we have grown through word of mouth and long-term relationships with local families. Our GPs take time to understand your health history and goals, then plan care with you. We value continuity, so you can see a familiar face and receive joined-up care across the services you need.
Our Care Philosophy
Good care starts with listening. We take time to understand your story, what matters to you, and any worries you may have. We explain your options in plain English and support you to make decisions that fit your needs, values, and culture.
Our doctors follow current clinical guidelines and use evidence to guide recommendations. Wherever possible you will see the same GP so your care feels familiar and joined up. When needed, we coordinate with nurses, allied health, specialists, and community services to keep everyone on the same page.
You leave each visit with clear next steps, timeframes for follow-up, and who to contact if questions come up. Above all, we aim for care that is kind, respectful, and easy to understand.
