We would like to inform you that we are using an Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool which assists your Practitioner during patient encounters by generating clinical notes based on your conversations. This tool allows the Healthcare Professional to focus more on you - the patient - and less on computer documentation during your visit.

AI is a tool that listens to the conversation during a medical consultation and generates a written summary or “note” based on that conversation. This note is then reviewed and approved by your Practitioner.

The AI tool does not interact with you directly. It merely listens to the conversation and creates a summary. This can allow the practitioner to focus more on the visit and less on taking notes.

We want to assure you that your privacy is our utmost priority. The AI tool adheres strictly to Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) compliance guidelines to ensure your data is secured and protected. Audio transcriptions of the consultation are held in Australia and only for a limited period of 30 days post-consultation. Only the healthcare professionals involved in your care will have access to these notes.

Your Healthcare professional remains in control of the clinical records and healthcare decisions. The Doctor has ultimate oversight and the AI output is reviewed and any records are verified for accuracy and adherence.
